The evolutionary roots of reacting to rejection is an interesting topic though - it reminds me a lot of Atanarjuat - The Fast Runner, which I think illustrates this very well.
Yeah, he doesn't sound too articulate. Although it's like Survivor, you have to remember how much the editing changes the way a person looks. Why an editor would choose to keep the "or something," I don't know. Jealousy, most likely.
But yeah, Atanarjuat is a particularly stark exemplar of the phenomenon in question.
